HELP! Can't get EPSON R2400 to work over AIRPORT!

I'm trying to get my Epson R2400 to work wirelessly over my Airport
network... tried everything.

I have a 900G and it works fine wirelessly.

And the R2400 works perfect when connected directly through firewire.

BUT>>>>!

When I try to add the Epson R2400 as a wireless AIRPORT printer, it
stalls and the printer app freezes up forever. I just can't get it to
add the R2400 as a wireless printer.

What can I do?

TIA!

Hi.

Use it via Firewire.

Don't waste too much time trying to get it to work through Airport, as that
will only last for about 18 months.

Why do u say that? Using it via airport will allow me to use it
throughout my house... I just can't get it to work!

Simple really.

One of my friends has just bought an I Mac, and we were discussing
connecting to Broadband.

Apple had advised him to get a router. We both, seperately, looked up
Airport, and found a page somewhere on a Mac site, of comments from users,
all of whom stated that theirs had died after a maximum of 18 months. The
comments were extremely unkind about this device.

When I next saw him, he reported that he had NOT bought an Airport or
Extreme. He is a devout Mac user, and this must be the first time he has
not opted for Mac Equipment.

I just hope, for your sake, that that page was a hoax.
