Help and Support/ InformationFiles.

I need help in finding or restoring the files for HELP and SUPPORT and also
INFORMATION.
I am using XP Professional.
When I click on 'Help and Support' I do not get anything at all; that is the
same with 'Informatiom'; not even a message telling me why. It just will not
open these files.
I would appreciate any info that could fix this.

Is help and support started/running in services?? Start---run---type
msconfig--click ok---services tab.

Thanks for that info; but yes it shows it is running; but why not a message
telling me what is missing or what ever??
Any more sugestions??

Try turning it off, reboot then back on and reboot. (services)

Tried and again no luck.
Why, why is there not an error message???
Checked virus etc.

Sorry, but it cannot find 'Packagestore' and 'Installedskus'

On another computer I have Windows ME; can I copy these files and use them??

You may copy the helpctr branch from another computer running Windows XP (not Win Me). Before you overwrite the existing files, backup the following directory to another location:

C:\WINDOWS\pchealth\helpctr
