I opened a power point file from outlook and went to save it. I accidently
saved it by replace an existing file. I worked 12 straight hours on that
file and now its is the ppoint that I opended from outlook. Is it possible
to un-save? retrieve the previous file? Is there something that I can do to
recover my hours of work. PLEASE HELP!!

Bad news ... sorry to hear it.

Look in your \TEMP folder for .TMP files of about the right size. Rename them
from .TMP to .PPT and see if you can open them in Powerpoint.

If you're VERY lucky, you may be able to recover your work.

In the future, it'd be a good idea to back up your files to another folder or
save them to a new name every so often.

I'd consider using this handy add-in from Shyam Pillai
