Heartbeat/Weather Channel Uninstall

Can anyone smarter than me help me uninstall The Weather Channel and
Heartbeat (which is part of Weather Channel)? I cannot uninstall it from
Control Panel>Add/Delete Programs. I can't even delete it from my Program
Files. When I Turn Off my computer I always get a pop-up saying that
HeartBeat is not responding and I have to click on end program. TIA, Fran

Try reinstalling Desktop Weather and then uninstalling it, Fran.
