Headers in Sub documents

When creating a master document with 9 sub documents I noticed that if there
was a header in the sub document it overwrote the headers in the master
document.

Does anyone know of a way to keep two sets of headers? One set for the
master document and a set for each sub document.

Whenever I want to print the sub document on it's own I am going to have to
manually set the headers, correct?
