Headers & Footers

I have entered Headers and Footers in a Word Document and although it is
displayed correctly within the document on screen as in Page 1 of 2 etc when
I print the document I get Field Text

Select Print, then click on the Options button - bottom left. In the Include
with Document section, is Field Codes checked. If so, uncheck.

Tools > options > print > uncheck 'field codes'.
In Word 2007, click the 'pizza' button, then the same control is at Word
Options > Advanced > Print
