having problems!!! Need help if it out there

VERY new to microsoft office an downloaded the trial didn't really understand
it an then un installed it an now I can not get my orginal mirosoft works to
open kepp getting that the file will not open does not exsist. Can anyone
help in pointng me in the right direction on how to solve this problem?

Not reall the right place to ask this. This group is for MS Access (the
Microsoft database)

Maybe try Microsoft.Public.Works.Win

Having said that, what exactly is the error that you are getting? and when
exactly do you get it?

I am not sure about your problem as this is an Access newsgroup, but how
exactly did you un-install the office trial version? Did you just delete
stuff or did you use the un-install program?

I did use the uninstall progam an when I tired to trouble shoot the problem
it brought me here.

this is what it says I don't understand it at all.

I suspect it brought you to the neighborhood, but not exactly where you
ended up. :)

As I recall there was a drop down list on that page and the first entry
is "Access" However Access is the database program that is part of Office
Professional. There are other entries on that list that would be better
choices, but Access is the default and if you don't change it your message
ends up here.

It might be a good idea to go back there and click on the box where
"Access" appears and see if you can find an entry for "WORKS"
