Having a tough time editing hyperlinks in link bars

No matter what I do - I just cannot find where to edit hyperlinks in link
bars and shared borders.

I picked up a message yesterday to go to Navigation view - and try it from
there.

I'm in the area via navigation view and it says for the link bars in
question -

"Edit the properties for this link bar to display hyperlinks here".

When I right click and bring up Link Bar properties - I get some kind of
diagram about parent / child - but STILL CANNOT MODIFY THE HYPERLINKS.

How do I modify hyperlinks in link bars in shared borders. I've tried
everything and can't figure it out.

Please make the instructions step by step - as I'm not familiar with Front
Page "buzz" words.

Thank you very much,

Bob

BG -

Go to Navigation view and arrange the hierarchy of your pages by dragging them
into position under the icon of your home page. THEN edit the link bar
properties to show the desired links.

What are you trying to edit?

Is the page you are dealing with in the Navigation View? If not, or you are
not sure, save the page then switch to Navigation View. Find the page in
the file-list (to the left of the Nav View) and drag it into the Navigation
tree. If, while dragging, a forbidden icon shows (red circle) then the
page is already in the Nav. View, otherwise drop the page where you need it
in the tree.

To change the page name displayed on the pages find the page in Navigation
View, right click the box and choose Rename form the context menu, then type
in the new display name.

To move the box to another position in the tree, just click and drag it to
the new position.

To change the page the box links to.... this can't be done - each box
represents a particular page. Delete that box from the view (be careful not
to delete the entire page - read the confirm delete dialogue) and drag the
new page in from the file list. If the deleted page has any pages under it,
then these will also be removed from the navigation.

The navigation view shows an upside down tree, with the home page at the
top, and child pages growing under it. The navigation bar property sheet
demonstrate this.
