have you seen my calculator?

Brian Hill

Hi, I seem to be missing my calculator. It usually would come up when I hit
the calculator button on my keyboard. But after pounding on it several
times, I went to look for that pesky thing. And it wasnt anywhere to be
found, not in the Accessories, where it usually lives, and that dog on the
search section couldnt sniff it out either.

If anybody has any ideas where it could be, or how to get it back, I would
be very happy.
Thank You
Brian

Hi,

The calculator in the program menu is just a link to the executable file, it
is not the program itself. The file you want, as indicated by Ramesh, is
calc.exe and this can simply be entered into a start/run prompt to load the
program. As to the dog, search on just "calc" instead of the full word
"calculator" and it should find it in the system32 directory.
