Have attachment file name print in header.

I am using Outlook 2003 and I need the attachment file
name to print in the header when printing a message.
Before I was using Outlook Express and it would print
like Attachment: abcfile.txt.
Any suggestions will be appreciated.

I was helping a customer with the same problem and
determined to veiw all messages as plain text.

Open Outlook and goto:

Tools_Options Preferences tab, click the E-Mail options
button, make sure that "Read all standard mail in plain
text" is checked and then shut down and restart Outlook.
Try to print message and see if attachment name is printed.

please respond if this works for you.

Ok not to nit-pick but... if this is the BEST that MS offers us to
enable this function, thats pretty freakin LAME. What on earth were
they thinking!?

For real now - does ANYONE know of a way to enable this? I want to
print out a copy of my SENT email, and have it show SOME kind of
indication that a file was attached to it. I saw another reference to
a 3rd party app, but I would prefer not to do that if I can avoid
it....

Attachment print out

Hi,
I am the new member here. I am also having same problem. I tried the way to fix by changing to plain text. but.. attachment is showing in message area when it print. I want it to show in message header.

Actually, if we can do it in HTML format, that will be great.
