Has Windows XP&SP2 have a Regestry Cleaning Tool?

Hi Everyone, I had SystemMechanic 5 on my PC an uninstalled it. Can anyone
tell me if there is one in XP? I really could tell that it did a good job by
the color and how fast it booted up. If Windows XP doesn't have one could
someone suggest a good one that will work in XP? Thanks all, an have a good
day,JJ

No, XP does not come with one.
No, I can't (or won't) suggest one for XP. I have yet to be convinced
of the necessity.

There is no "neccessity" but sometimes when configuration glitches mess up a
computer, tidying up the registry can be helped with a utility such as
Registry Mechanic (I have no connection with PC Tools etc.) I have used this
to tidy up my laptop after migrating some information from my old laptop.

Not to mention that fiddling with the registry either using a
specialised tool or manually is dangerous.

No - there is not one in XP.

If you feel the need to clean your registry - use CrapCleaner (CCleaner) to
do it. It's fairly safe and eliminates most of the really unnecessary crud
without endangering the end user (or the need for you to really know too
much.)
