Hard Drive Setup

Does anyone know how to get Windows 2000 Professional to
see a hard drive larger than 137GB. I just bought an Asus
P4C800-E Deluxe motherboard and a WD 160GB hard drive.
The BIOS recognizes the HD but the OS doesn't see anything
above 137GB. I was told to upgrade to SP3 or SP4 and the
OS would see it. I upgraded to SP4 but it still doesn't
see anything larger than 137GB. Also, I read somewhere
there is a way to install the service pack concurrently
with a new OS install. Is this true or am I drinking
paint. Any help would be appreciated. I am now thinking
I should of gone with a 120GB drive.

There is a registry setting required along with SP3 or SP4. Enabling 48bit
LBA has some backward compatiblity issues if you subsequently uninstall so
you should review the details of the following KB carefully.
