hard drive/recycle bin space?

I have a pentium 3/ 450mhz windows 98 second edition with
windows Xp pro over it. I have a 13 gig hard drive and a
fairly new digital camera. Recently, I deleted over 1gig
of photos from my hard drive, emptied the recycle bin,
disc clean up and defragged the hard drive. This did not
free up any space on my hard drive. I waited 2 weeks for
this to process through system restore. Nothing. I still
have only 5 gig free space on hard drive. HELP!!!

SequoiaView is an excellent free (and clean) utility to track down
mysterious missing drive space.

It provides a one window graphical representation of which files are taking
up how much space where on a drive, often tracking down files that Windows
is reluctant to reveal.
