I have two PC's and I was planning to sell one of them. But before
that, I tried to erase the files in the hard drive of PC#1. Now the
hard drive is not even recognizable in my other PC (PC#2).
PC#1 and PC#2 are same brand and model with interchangeable parts.
Here is what happened:
I went to PC-DOCTOR 2.0 (read from a 3.5" floppy) and chose Utility >
Full erase hard drive. After starting the process, I saw that it was
going to take too long to erase. So I stopped the process about 15
seconds into it.
I decided to remove the hard drive I was trying to erase from PC#1 and
install it into PC#2 and erase it with a different program. Now PC#2
does not recognize the hard drive. I went into the BIOS and tried to
locate the hard drive that was going to be erased but it does not show
up. I installed the drive back into PC#1 and ran PC-DOCTOR (from a
floppy) and it did not find the hard drive either. Is there a fix for
this? Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks.
