hard drive change

i have two hard drives of 80 g local disc c which has system on and f .c disc
is noisey and i want to change this with a new 250g drive i have bought. how
do i copy c drive to this disc or how do i move the os to f drive and install
the new drive if this is poss .many thanks

If you bought a retail drive it comes with complete instructions and all
the software you'll need.

The drive manufacturers have it down to a science. And they'll help you
through the installation should you need it.
