Handouts Question

One of our bosses likes to have two slides on a page printed. He said at his
old job that they printed them up so the two slides were larger and fit more
on the page. However, when I've tried to do this in 2003, it doesn't let me
edit the master to enlarge the slides. My only solution right now is to send
them as notes to Word, delete the notes and then enlarge each of the images.

Is there a way to do this or an add-in that does this?

Thanks!

He may have been using an add-in, as you mentioned, because PPT doesn't do
this natively. As you are aware, Send to Word is the only way you can edit
the size of the slide thumbnails.

A couple of potential add-ins:
Handout Wizard: http://skp.mvps.org/how/
Slide Into Word: http://billdilworth.mvps.org/SlideIntoWord.htm

I don't know for sure, but it may also be possible that he was using a
postscript printer driver that allowed the users to print N-up. I'd guess
that a postscript printer's 2-up gives a larger slide size than PPT's
handouts.

It's funny. I see fairly frequent reports of people saying they could do
<whatever> at their old job, but they can't ever explain how it was done!
What's up with that? :)
