Halo not loading Hardware acceleration not enabled

I try to load the game and it says i need to run dxdiag as my hardware
acceleration is disabled but when i run dxdiag i have non disabled and
all tests are good is there a patch available for the game to overcome
this problem. I also read somewhere it might be the sp2 update if so
has there been another update to fix this problem
