hacker hacked in through IM

Need help- MSN doesn't reply cause they don't admit a
problem !!!!! I was on Instant Messenger and this hacker
got in and he changed my password in my account and put
in his own secret question and answer and password. I
immediately uninstalled IM but through repeated calls to
MSN asking them to get rid of him by erasing him I have
heard nothing . Can't get into chats and I paid $19.95
for the chats and the extras and they won't get rid of
him nor refund my money !! Any ideas ? Next idea is to go
to local TV channel and tell them how unresponsive MSN is
to their paying accounts . Just want my IM back with my
original name and get this hacker out without
reformatting and losing tons of contacts and friends .

The first question is, how did someone get in? Are you sure he/she got into
your actual computer? Do you have your firewall enabled? Keep Windows
patched regularly through Windows Update

Nobody here is going to be able to help you actually re-set your password -
if MSN isn't responsive, try to escalate the call, write a letter, etc.....
