Guestlog paragraph formatting

I use the guestlog function for people to add stories to my website. The
problem is that FP (2003) does not recognize the return key, even when
shift-return is held down. This leaves me with vast chunks of difficult to
read text.

Does anyone have any suggestions for a way to force line breaks?
