Guestbook Password Error

I created a guestbook on my website, www.dcbee.com, but when anyone tries to
post, it prompts them for a user name and password. I made sure that the
post file was not in the _private folder. I tried every help tutorial and
guestbook faq and still cannot get posts on the guestbook. My only other
assumption is the hosting service will not allow it. This doesnt make much
sense to me though as I have the cgi extensions loaded and whats the point of
cgi without writing to the web? Any ideas?

Is it a FrontPage guestbook??

If so, your server domain account needs FrontPage extensions and you need to publish your
web using http://

As of right now, your server does "not" have extensions installed.

When I go into my server settings, it says they are installed. I will have
to email them. Thanks,

Move your results field to a folder w/ write permissions (by default the _private folder)
you now have it in the root
U-File="guestbook_results.htm"

PS
The guestbook does not support the customizations you have added
- it only supports the comments field
