guest account

Eric

hello everybody

I've a small question about the guest account...

Several times, I'm having friends that use my guest account to check their
mail on internet

I've noticed that somtimes they save documents (word,...) in my documents
folder of the guest account.

So I have to empty it manually to delete all their files.

I'm looking for a way to automatically delete documents in "my document"
folder in the guest account, is it possible ?

Thanks a lot for your help

Eric

Yes, should be possible.
Are you running XPPRO?
Then fire up gpedit.msc and go to User Configuration, Windows Settings,
Scripts (Logon/Logoff)
Double click Logoff (right-hand side) and click "Add" button.
Click "Browse" button
In the Browse dialog box, right-click and New Text Document and name it:
"ClearGuestDocuments.cmd"
Select that file and Open.
Exit out of gpedit by confirming OK etc..and closing the mmc.
Now go to C:\WINDOWS\system32\GroupPolicy\User\Scripts\Logoff and open this
..cmd file with notepad and add the lines to delete all files in wherever the
Guest\My Documents folder is pointing.
