Group Policy Object error

D

D Smith

When I attempt to create a new group policy object for an
organizational unit, I get a group policy error saying i
do not have permission to perform this operation, access
is denied.

I have created many GPO's in this active directory before
now.

I can still edit existing GPO's, but can not create new
ones.

Any suggestions as to how I might resolve this issue?

Check the permissions on the C:\WINNT\SYSVOL\sysvol\domain.com\Policies.
Make sure that GP creator owners is there with the correct permissions. You
should also check the permissions on the policies folder in AD users and
computers. It is found under the system container.
