Group Policy Not take effective

K

Keith Ko

Dear all,

With a blank new AD, I have just defined a group policy and linked to domain level. However, I found that the change couldn't be
take effective even if I reboot/logoff/logon the DC. (It's a testing environment and only one DC be there.)

With "Security Configuration and Analysis" snap-in, I knew the change haven't been updated....

Why?? Please help....

Thank you very much
Keith

Hello Keith

Make sure your DNS settings are correct (This means you should be available
to ping the full AD domain name by FQDN like ping company.local and get
response, you should be available to do this on the workstation as well as
the server self.)

If you not got response from your server, make sure first DNS is pointing to
the servers IP.
