Group Policy > Advanced view

Dear all,

I would like to activated for all users the Advanced view in Outlook by
default (View > Toolbars > Advanced).

We uploaded already the ADM file for Outlook 2007
(http://www.howto-outlook.com/howto/policies.htm). Unfortunately, we could
not find an option to fulfil the above requirement.

Any ideas?

Kind regards,

Simon

It is not possible to do that via group policies.

If you take a clean machine and then the only change you make is enabled the
Advanced Toolbar and closing Outlook again, then you might have some success
with deploying that outcmd.dat file to your clients. This will undo any of
their own Toolbar customizations though.

Dear Robert,

Thank you very much for your reply.

Unfortunately, the outcmd.dat file disappears everytime I close Outlook and
the Advanced view disppears each time.

However, would it be possible to define a customized toolbar with group
policy? I could include the fields I need in the group policy and hopefully
the toolbar with my required buttons from the Advanced view.

What do you think?

Kind regards,

Simon

Or could it be achieved with VBA?
