just migrated from an NT server to Windows 2000 server.
Kept both servers up and running and transferred clients
over, one at a time, over a couple of weeks time. At the
time I added them I forced them to sign on to the network
with a password and in the policy required monthly changes.
As a result all PC's are not prompting a change in
password at the same time. I would like to correct this
to require a new password on the first of each month. Can
this be corrected in the group policy? Does anyone out
there have any suggestions?

The "Maximum password age" security setting determines the period of time
(in days) that a password can be used before the system requires the user
to change it. You can set passwords to expire after a number of days
between 1 and 999, or you can specify that passwords never expire by
setting the number of days to 0.
