Gravity: how to view threads that have your posts, exclusively

Steps to make Gravity newsreader have a filter that shows only threads
you have participated in. Purpose is to make Gravity not only be an
awesome news *reader*, but also as have a decent threaded, email client
style, inbox.

Watch method:

1. Use a unique alias or email address
2. Use "scoring" to give posts with your alias a relatively large number
(relative to any other scoring values).
3. Make a "rule" that marks a post as "watched" if it satisfies the
large number from step 2. Move this rule above the built-in default
"Watched Thread Rule". The "Watched Thread Rule" will mark as watched
all posts in a thread where a single post has been previously marked as
watched, and will also download the thread locally.
4. In Gravity Options, click on the Storage tab and uncheck:
[ ] Retrieve and store article bodies
[ ] Store all bodies retrieved for reading

When you want to see only the threads you have participated in, use the
built-in filter "Show Local (All)". I know... this is all pretty
drastic.

Important method:

Alternatively, you can make a rule that marks all posts "in reply to my
message" as important, then use the built in filter "Show Important
(All)".

Or, you can use both, and remove the important mark as you take care of
your replies.

Built on Tom Bates and Spacey Spade's previous posts.

Quote from Bates: "One thing you should do is go to Global
Options - Posting and increase the Article ID memory" (this is so that
Gravity recognizes your posts, as many previous as in this setting)

Sorry, but Gravity is not an email client. You will never be able to have
an Inbox in Gravity. MicroPlanet Gravity only downloads NNTP news articles.

Post all replies to the Newsgroup,
so that all may be informed.
Remove the obvious to reply by email.

Steps as I described work sufficiently enough like an inbox to satisfy
my needs. Thanks for your helpfulness though.

I think the operative word was inbox STYLE.
