Graphics Too Bright and Washed Out

My son was playing te Diable game from a CD. It froze on him and now my
graphics are too bright and appear to be washed out. I can not read some
things. I also can not use my digital camera because the images are too
bright to see. Please Help!

Have you tried shutting totally down and restarting the computer. That
should be first.

It sounds like you need to adjust your monitor. Then again it could be
a driver problem. If it is a driver problem you may be able to re-install
the monitor's driver. You can also try using the "System" icon in the
control panel. From there go to the device manager then to monitors and
select your monitor. Double click on it. Click on the driver tab and try
Update Driver. If that does not do it try the General tab and try
Troubleshoot.

Hello Deby,

This could be caused my your graphics card. Try right clicking on an empty
space on your desktop got to properties, click the settings tab, then the
advanced button. Look around in there for brightness and color contrast
settings.
