Hi I hope someone can help my current situation,
I have a toshiba laptop model is P10 371 & has a geforce fx GO 5600 64 MB Graphics card.
I recently installed windows vista business & was suprised when i found I had Aero glass & all the 3d effects on a low end graphics card (MB wise)
Following this i checked DXDIAG & clicked Display, were it said
Approx. Total Memory: 126 MB
Can someone please explain were this extra 62MB has come from as I don't have a clue (Also if it helps my current RAM is 512MB dxdiag says 510)

It could be including system memory in its calculation - but is this really a problem?

I would think TD has it on the button - it is sharing a further 64MB from the system memory.

Vista Business system requirements state you should have 1GB System memory and 128MB Graphics memory - so you are right at the limit, especially as the graphics card is using 64MB of your 512GB RAM.

I would suggest upgrading the RAM to at least 1GB - preferably 2GB.
