Graphic in a text box?

Is it possible to insert a graphic in a text box in PowerPoint? If so, how? I
want to animate the text box so that it does not show initially. I cannot get
a graphic to copy into the text box; it always ends up on the slide itself.

I'd also like to insert a sound file in that text box (again, to display
after the content on the basic slide). Is that doable? If so, how?

Thanks!

What TAJ said and ...

TAJ's answer puts the picture as a background image in the text box. I don't
think this is what you wanted. You can get the effect that you want, but you
have to think about it differently (or if you are on a Mac, you have to think
about it different). The picture (other than as the background as TAJ
described) and the music will be separate from the text box. You need to
think about the animations. This depends on what version of PowerPoint you
are using. You can animate the text box to come in line by line, and you can
animate the picture to come in next. If you are using 2003, you can set it to
animate "With Previous," and it should come in with the last line of the text.

TAJ Simmons' reply offers an interesting effect (though not the one I sought
in my original question).

David M's reply solved my problem. To elaborate (in PowerPoint 2003, at
least):
I created the individual pieces I wanted to display together (a text box, a
graphic, and a button launching an audio clip) and positioned them on my base
slide.
Using Custom Animation, I tagged each of them to "Appear."
Then I right-clicked on the animation listing for the graphic and selected
"With Previous." Did the same with the audio button.

Result: My base slide displays. With one click, additional text along with a
graphic and audio appear. SUPER!

Thank you both for responding so quickly to my request for help.
