Graph for individual records

I am teacher and we receive our state test data in an excel spreadsheet. We
then create a bar graph of each students data in a specific academic area to
give them a picture of where they are and where they need to be. In the past
we have created the graphs individually which has become quite time
consuming. I am looking for a way to possibly use ACCESS and have it create
a bar graph for each record(student). Is this possible? If not do you have
any suggestions.
Thank You!

I would believe it is possible, I just have not tired it.

My only question is how well do you know Access. Access has a very
steep learning curve so if you have never worked in Access it is going to
take a while to get to a finished product. However Access is, IMHO well
worth the effort and once you lean it, you can use it again and again.

While this can be done in Access, I think you'll actually find it easier to
do this in Excel.
My personal experience (and I'm much more proficient in Access than in
Excel) is that the graphing tool in Excel is easier to work with than the
one in Access.
Also, Access much prefers that the data for a graph is in columns, where
Excel works happily with data in either rows or columns.

In Excel, you can "automate" the creation of these graphs by recording a
macro.
Select the row you want to graph, then on the menu select Tools - Macros -
Record New Macro. Make sure you specify a Hot Key combination (something
like Ctl-GS), which you can use to launch this procedure again, once it's
recorded. A small toolbar will appear.
Now proceed as you normally would to graph that student's data. When
you're finished, click the StopRecording button on the new toolbar. The
toolbar should disappear.

At this point, you should be able to select another row, and press your
Hot Key combination. That row should be graphed automatically.
If you get this much working, but would like to automate the process
further, you could post back here. However, you're more likely to get
better ideas in some of the Excel user groups.
