GPO and Windows Firewall

Hey all! We have the Windows Firewall disabled via GPO. It seems,
though, that many people still have it on even when they are on the
network. We think that people take their laptops home, and since they
are not logging into the domain, it's turning on by default...maybe
then they don't restart and just bring it into work and plug back into
the network. Is this possible?

Usually no. Just try it out. Disconnect your laptop from your corporate
Network and the firewall should turn on. If you connect it back to your
network, it should turn off in short time.

Bye
