Google ToolbarProblem !

Hi,

form previous posts I saw, that the Google Toolbar can cause some trouble in
IE. So far, I never had trouble with it since I started using the Toolbar,
but lately I have a problem which becomes serious.

IE won't close completely. The window will close, but I still have the task
"iexplore.exe" running in my task list. If I open IE, lets say 5 times,
after closing the window I have 5 "iexplore.exe" running which I have to
close ( end task ) manually.

I tried uninstalling and re-installing the Google Toolbar but it seems to
make no differences. Without the toolbar installed, I have no problems.

System is spy and adware free, as well as virus free !

Anyone knows what can be done to solve the problem ?

What version of the Google Toolbar are you using? Mine is version
3.0.125.1

Have you tried installing the Google Toolbar in safe mode? But first,
make sure no remnants of the previous one is still on your system.

Hi,

my Google Toolbar is version 3.0.126.3 !

I'll try to remove it via Control Panel Add/Remove, then I'll reboot in safe
mode and log on as Administrator and install the toolbar from there !

I'll let you know how it goes.
