Getting the Desktop and Applications to display in reverse.

I am looking for a software solution that will enable me to set the display
in reverse (not upside down). My office has customer service windows, and
many customers complain that the employee spends more time looking at the
computer than them. So I am fashioning a basic 3 way mirror that would allow
me to place the monitor flat on the counter and the angled 3 way mirror would
allow the employee to see what is on the screen, but the customer would only
see the employee, giving at least the illusion of eye contact during the
transactions.
Is there any available software app that will do this, or even a specific
video card that would take these settings so that when the monitor is
reflected off of the mirror, it looks normal in the reflection?

Yes, we tried that, but it looses light/resolution on the mylar pane doing
that. But it seems you're on the same sheet of music I am on, so if you have
any other suggestions, I'm willing to give it a shot. thanks Bob.

If the monitor is above the window facing the employee, and the mirror
is above the employee facing the window, then you should have a fairly
good image on the window. You may want to put side shields between the
monitor and the mirror to reduce ambient light. Another option may be to
use a LCD projector, but pick one where you can select a lower lamp
power to extend bulb life.

We also looked at a projector as a solution this morning. It works fine, but
may not be a cost-effective solution. We're looking to see if there are good
quality projectors for under $300 that do the trick. We also contacted some
video-card vendors to see if they had any solutions. I think we'll get this
figured out eventually.

Cheers
