Getting started

I've designed a very large site with Frontpage - but am having problems with
ftp.
I've tried reading the tutorials but get no further. Help with the following
would be most appreciated.
1) Will publishing from Frontpage automatically update the links (from pages
on my computer to pages located on the remote computer) or do I have to alter
each link manually?
2) my web space provider allows from extensions - my pages use themes and
there is a folder for each page. - do i use ftp address or html?
3) if i use ftp what do i put in the line ftp directory - provider has given
me an ftp address

sorry if this is basic - but my provider's list of my site's addresses use
different terminology to frontpage
many thanks

Your host server either supports the FP Server Extensions or they don't

If they do you need to use HTTP - see
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;825528&Product=fp2003

If they don't you need to use FTP - see
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;825503&Product=fp2003

Yes if your paths are relative to your local web FP will publish them to be relative to your hosted site URL
