Getting rid of the blue squiggly line?

I can't get rid of the blue squiggly line when in Outlook/Word which is
something to do with formatting. I've unchecked "keep track of formatting"
in Options/Advanced but its still there. Any clues please?

You also need to clear the check on "Mark formatting inconsistencies".

In Word 2007 I believe a blue wavy line also indicates "contextual spelling"
errors.

Thanks so much - the squiggly blue line would appear on newletters making them difficult to read. Unchecking the box for "Mark formatting inconsistencies" made the blue squiggly line disappear! I left the box checked for "Keep track of formatting" though.

It took me awhile to find the box ... here is how I found it (Outlook 2010):

File- Options - Mail - Compose messages: Editor Options button - Advanced - Editing Options (~12th box down on mine).

I appreciate the fix!!!
