Getting message "Microsoft needs more information ... "

Hi
We are using a specialist piece of software for blind users, called "Guide",
which I think runs as a DOS program, with its own menu system and this speaks
to the user.
We are getting regular pop up windows from Windows Defender with the
following message ...
"Microsoft needs more information about this software. Sending these files
can help Microsoft improve the effectiveness of Windows Defender to better
protect your system. If you do not want to send a file clear the check box
next to it. C:\Program Files\Software Express\Guide\guide.exe"
Whatever action we take, this message keeps reappearing.
Can anyone help please ?
