Getting latest version of scrrun.dll

I have version 5.6.0.8825 on my XP Pro and that seems to be the latest
download available from MS but one of our 2003 servers has a version
5.6.0.8827. How can I get my hands on this version since I'm now stuck in
dll hell.

Thanks

..8825 is the correct version for XP Pro (SP2).

The problem is that when we try to run the scripten.exe which contains that
version, the OS isn't letting us install it. We're getting an error. Is
there something that we can do to get this installed on the 2003 server?

Thanks

Jake, I know nothing about 2003 server. While similar to XP in many ways it
is a different operating system. Files with the same name are not
necessarily the same versions as you've discovered. You need to take this
question over to one of the server newsgroups.

A link that will open the server scripting newsgroup in your default
newsreader is:
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.windows.server.scripting

For web interface see:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsserver2003/community/newsgroups/default.mspx

NOTE: The scrrun.dll is watched by Windows File Protection in XP. A backup
copy of the file is kept in the Windows\system32\dllcache folder. WFP will
use this file to replace the working copy in system32 if it becomes damaged
in any way.
