Word Getting information from Outlook appointment inspector into Word userform

Hello, I am automating a Word document and I would like to include some code that will check to see if an Outlook appointment inspector is open, and if so, will import the date and time of the appointment into the Word userform. If there is no inspector open it should just leave the textboxes in the userform blank.

I am using Windows 7 and Office 2010. I have some experience with Word VBA but very little with Outlook, and almost no experience in making the different programs work together.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
