Getting "destination folder access denied" on data drive

K

I recently installed Vista Ultimate as a dual-boot with my old XP-Pro.
I have a second hard drive in my system that I have been using as my
data drive for XP. I want to also use it as my data drive for Vista. I
am logged in to Vista with the same domain account as I have always
used in XP.

When I do anything that wants to create or modify then I get a dialog
that indicates "destination folder access denied" and I can choose
Continue, Skip, or Cancel. If I continue then I get a UAC prompt. I
read some earlier posts and have taken ownership of the drive and a
folder but the problem still persists.

Another intersting note is that I have a USB drive attached to my
system and I do NOT have the problem with that drive. I can do
anything without any op-ups.

My user is a domain admin...

Any help?
Thanks!
Karl
