Get rid of message re secure & nonsecure items?

B

Bob Stringer

I use the Westlaw web site to do legal research. I've added it to my
trusted zone, but every time I go to a new web page on that site, I
get a message that the page contains both secure and nonsecure items,
and I have to click whether I want to display the nonsecure items.

It really slows up things to have to click on that message every time
I go to a new page, and I don't care whether the nonsecure items are
displayed. Is there a way to get rid of the message permanently?

Thanks.

You may have to make two changes to your settings.

Tools-Internet Options-Advanced
Uncheck "Warn if changing between secure and not secure mode"

Tools-Internet Options-Security
Highlight Trusted Sites and click Custom Level
Go down to Miscellaneous
Set "Display mixed content" to Enable.
The default is Prompt.

That took care of it.
