get rid of memorized email addresses

P

paula

How would I go about getting rid of email addresses that I have mistakenly
typed incorrectly for a person. Every time I go to create a new email say
for someone that's name starts with an "M" it brings up their correct
address and all previously mis-typed addresses as well. I have tried
deleting their address in contacts and re-entering but the same ol' wrong
ones keep coming back.
TIA

Just ignore the bad addresses. Windows Mail only remembers the
last 29 addresses you sent to, so the bad ones will eventually
drop off the remembered list.

Paula i have the same problem. Anybody reading this the problem we have is
that we have mistakenly typed email address. Windows mail has memorised it
somewhere in the bowels of the software. When you enter windows contacts this
mistaken e mail is not in the list. So I think what me and paula are asking
where is it hidden to delete. Ive run CC Cleaner Evidence eliminator and
privacy eraser and still that mistake email comes up. Where is it hidden on
the system to delete it our question. Its a darn nuisences. Whoops

They are stored in the Registry.
Only 29 are stored, so as you type in new ones, the old one should drop off.

I don't use Mail for e-mail, but in Office Outlook, if you start to type and
a memorized address pops up, right click on it and choose Delete from the
menu.
