Hi folks,

i would like get the cpu and/or mainboard temperature by using a dll or
library. I would like to show the temperature in a visualisation
application under windows xp. If the temperature is too high a message
should be shown by the application on the display.
Someone knows a solution to solve this problem?

Thanks.

P.S.: Excuse me my english is very bad.

MBM5 (Motherboard Monitor 5) is exactly what you want.

Also get Everest Home Edition. It does not have an alarm but it has
just about everything else.

The manufacturer of your mainboard may have a temp monitor but MBM5 is
the most popular. It will even give you the temp of your SMART hard
drives if you know how to set it up properly.

Check your motherboard's driver CD. Usually it will include a
motherboard probe type of software.

You've posted to the wrong newsgroup, most people here aren't
programmers and don't understand your question.

I understand the question, but don't know the answer. The place to post
is in a newsgroup for Windows programmers. Or whatever OS you are
writing for.
C or C++ newsgroups may not help because i've seen posts there on the
subject. THey say to post to an OS specific newsgroup.

VB programmers may know.

Check this out. I was mentioned in a VB nwsgroup but may also be
accessible to C or C++ programmers. If it's in the Windows API or
something.

you could search for the answer to your q, many have asked in diff
newsgroups, see if an ans is already posted. www.google.com/groups
