Get Alias Name

Hi,

I'm new to using VB w/Outlook and need to write a Function to return the
Alias value of a sendername. Is there a simple function I can write to do
this?

Once I get the variable assigned I need to use this Function in a rule to
send emails to the designated folder based on the string Left(AliasName,2).

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

sorry, a little more info - I will be getting this information from a netork
SMTP address.

I could also use the Message ID - I just don't know the syntax to return the
value to a variable in Outlook.

Thanks again!
