*genuine* freeware version of context menu editor?

It's been some time since I visited the Ziff-Davis (PC Magazine) downloads
site, and I was shocked to find that what was available as freely
downloadable software is now "subscription-ware." I think $20 a year is too
much for the one or two programs I might use from their (admittedly
excellent) list.

Right now I'm in need of one program from there. It allows you to edit the
right-click context menu - called, "ContextMenu Plus." See it described
here:

Is there a *genuine* freeware version at all?

No. Further, this utility you mention, "ContextMenu Plus," it's new --
created after they went to subcription-ware model.

.. . .

What's up with their website now? I tried the link above and the half-
dozen pages connected with that article (eg
http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,4149,1337770,00.asp ) and none of the
relevant images -- the program-screenshot images -- showed up. Not in
the normal article pages, nor w/ the "click for enlarged image in new
window" links.

My end was K-meleon... then for curiosity, Moz standard. Javascript set
to On. They're designing their pages strictly for MSIE now? Not that I
really care... Just wondered if the pcmag-corpse had decayed yet further
since last I looked.
