GENUINE ADVANTAGE NOTIFICATION

It seems that I was AM Having a problem in IE 6 where a part of my screen
went White. I cannot see the scores on the left of mlb.com. GO THERE. i
have taken off IE, done everything. I even reinstalled XP. It came back.
But now it went away. I tried, reluctantly, because it can mess up other
programs, to remove sp2. I did it, all else is fine...sort of.

The white problem is still there even after I reinstalld sp2, thinking I'd
'fix' IE.

And now there are some Updates I cannot get on. The one main one is
'genuine adv. notification' The one that verifies you have a cerified copy
of xp.

Not that important to me I suppose, more to Microsoft, but why won't it go on.

Any remedy solutions to my IE problem or that problem?

I do have the latest of Java and Flash for the IE problem.

If you are referring to update 905474, then download and install:

Then re-boot Windows. Does this solve your problem?

Thank you, it turned out, I had to do a format. Having major problems with
my BT keyboard.,....the update, the whitespot on the IE.

Well, I did the format.
1--whitespot problem appeared, then gone after I installed somethingl. Any
idea what it could have been

2--the update problem prolly won't be there. Prolly there when I messed up
something by taking off SP2. You should prolly never do that, huh?

3--BT stuff....time will tell once I get all my drivers on

BUT AND A BIG ONE. I have and ran spybot, also Ad-aware, have browser
Hijacker helpers Spyware guard and blaster, but yet my Homepage CANNOT change
from MSN.com. How come. Can you help me or point me to who can. I am
debating whether I should go on with this format, the rest of the
installations, etc
