Generic processing error

I don't know if this is the proper newsgroup or not but I'm trying to add a
group (Sales group) to domain admins in AD running on Windows 2000 and get
the following error: "Processing of object sales gateway failed with the
following error: Name translation: Generic processing error." Any ideas on
what might be causing this? Thanks!
