Generic Host Process for Win32 services

Like many other people in this discussion forum I too an having problems with Generic Host Process for Win32 services. I have scanned my computer with a new version of McAFee and it found nothing. I did the sasser worm, MSblaster and W2Welch fix tool and all three found no worms on my computer. I have installed Sygate firewall to block the Generic Host message and so far so good with the exception that I cannot access my email. The message I get is that my password is rejected. My internet provider reset the password and I have also (with the help of tech services at my internet provider) retyped my incoming and outgoing mail addresses (pop and SMTP) but still cannot open Outlook Express. Can anyone help me with this?

Thanks

Blocking the Generic Host Process for Win32 services from running is not a
good idea and is likely causing the problems with your email. Look at the
following article for a description of this process.
