This error is driving us absolutely nuts. Has anyone run
across this and found a solution. Details as follow:

Windows XP - All Service Packs and Critical Updates in
Place.

Generic Host Process for WIN32 Services and encountered a
problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the
inconvience.

Error Signature

szAppName: szAppver: 0.0.0.0 szModeName: Unknown
szModVer: 0.0.0.0 offset: 00000000

We are getting this only on XP machines. Some of these
machines are right out of the box from Gateway. We would
greatly appreciate any immediate help!

Thank You!

We are having the EXACT same problem with several XP systems and sometimes the problem will go away and system seems to work fine but then it will come back sometimes on next reboot.... We don not have Blaster as i have ran Blaster tools from several different company's and all say it not there... It randomly happens on only our XP systems and i have also noticed when i check in services a lot of the automatic services are not started so i tried starting them manually and damm if the dont turn themselves back off in a few minutes usually.... It seems pointless to rebuild all these systems as Curtis has apparently done and has the error return... we have several systems running (XP,Win98.Win2K) only the XP systems experience this... Has anyone solved this problem or know steps to narrow it down to the cause....
