I updated my Gemstar listings yesterday (Friday) and Friday's listing were

Gemstar didn't do anything, the old daylight savings time just caught
up with us. Expect the same problem in October.

But only for one week, and not three, IIRC.

How do you figure that? Daylight Savings Time changes at 2am on Sat night /
Sun morning.

My SATURDAY listings were correct. If it were because of the old change
then it would not be until Sunday that the listings would be correct.

Hi, Psycho.

No. The "old" daylight savings time would not have kicked in until April.
Either April 1 or April 8; I can't recall which.

I had exactly 3 weeks of appointments at work in Outlook that were all
fouled up by this clusterf. That ended last weekend when the old
timechange date caught up to us.

Call me a cynic, but I find it easier to believe the original poster
is slightly mistaken than to think that Gemstar waited until the last
possible day to correct their listings.

Not sure about October, though, is it actually only one week? I
thought they were moving the date an equal amount in both Spring and
Fall.

Actually, R. C. is right, the "old" changeover in the U.S. would have
happened on April 1, 2007, i.e. this coming weekend.

However, to confuse things a bit more, the Europeans changed over on March
25. Maybe this had something to do with it? (Can't imagine how, though.)

It would seem that they fixed their listings with one week left to go.

Nope; three weeks difference in Spring, one week difference in Fall.

Old changeover would have been October 28, now it's Novemeber 4.

I hate my elected representatives. Everybody in Congress needs a
long, neverending vacation.
