gantt chart

Hello. I have a form that I would like to show a time line for the
associated task. The form would have the task, start date, and number of
days the task will take. It will be a gantt style/type of form. Has anyone
done any thing similar to gantt chart located on a form? Is there a
sample/example on a site that can be reviewed? This is a big task all of its
own coming up with something like this.
Thanks for reviewing and responding.

You can do this with MS Project and use automation to send the data
about start dates etc to Project and it will crank out the charts for
you. I guess you could automate Visio, if you really wanted, but
Project would be a lot easier to do. I'd check the MS website for
code. I'm sure it's there.

Hi,
Idealy what Piet says is the way to go, but you can do it in access or excel
if your budget doesn't allow project. Here is a simplified access version
and a quick search of google excel gantt chart will bring up many/many
examples.
